|Greetings. I trust that you are doing well. As part of our Gospel work, we provide help for various needs within the community. Every month we receive hundreds of stories of believers and their children in need for various reasons. Below are a couple of the more recent requests that we received. As you read them, please consider giving a special gift for the Benevolence Fund. This fund helps provide for these needs. As you can imagine, these funds go quickly and are thus in continuous need of replenishing.
Pr. Yeshwant is a very good servant of God in Karnataka. Every Sunday he has a worship for around 45 people and he is looking after 6 house churches. He is married to Manjula and God blessed them with three children. All three are in school. His youngest son Augestine has Dengue fever and is in the ICU. He needs at least $500 (Rs 30,000) to pay the hospital bills.
Pastor Babulal is serving the Lord in Odisha. He is a good man of God. He is married to Lata and God has blessed them with two children. Fanatics beat him with sticks and threw stones at his house. Last month from 10 people took water baptism, including 2 from high caste families. An older man in the family died and, as per local customs, they wanted to burn his body. The pastor suggested that instead he should be buried. Concerned that the pastor would overturn all of their customs, they decided to teach him a lesson. Babulal can’t even leave the house for fear of people. If he goes to the police, they won’t help and he is likely to be attacked again. We want to help pay for his medical bills and for fixing the house. We hope also to have someone travel to the area to help diffuse the situation.
