Pastor Rich is a B.A. graduate of Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois in 1967, and an M.Div. graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1970. I married Virginia on June 16, 1967, we have five daughters, 29-46 and two sons, 31- 33. We have 22 grandchildren and one more in transit.
I am a pastor of 50 years as of June, of 2017, with 40+ years as Senior Pastor of the Rock Springs Evangelical Free Church in Rock Springs, Wyoming. We have five English speaking pastors and two Hispanic pastors. I also serve as Superintendent of the Intermountain West District of the Evangelical Fellowship of Free Churches. The IWD includes churches in Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. The EFFC includes churches and missionaries in Mexico, Haiti, Kenya, Turkey, Ireland, with churches elsewhere in the USA. I have served as Superintendent since January of 1996.
I am the President of Travelers Assistance Society of Sweetwater County for many years. I serve on the Board of Barclay College in Haviland, Kansas, and I serve as Chairman of the Reaching Indians Ministries International, and have served on the RIMI Board since 1996. I am an author of a number of published and yet unpublished books, the most widely read is “Hope For The Home.” I have been a weekly Saturday and Sunday columnist in the Rock Springs Daily Rocket-Miner with a large 10,000 plus readership since October of 1996. I have been a short term missionary overseas in Russia, Tatarstan, Romania, Moldova, India, Africa, Mexico, South Sea Islands, New Zealand, and am planning a trip soon to Haiti. My Sunday messages from two services have for years been on Sermon Audio and are available both in pdf form to print off, and available in audio to hear.
