Let me introduce to you Pratima, 22 years old, from Maharashtra. She has been a student at MITS for three years and is currently holding the post of Warden for the 53 female students on campus. She is an amazing young woman.
When Pratima was one year old and her brother was two years, they were both smitten with a strange fever. Her parents took them to many doctors and hospitals, but they were not able to be cured. One day a pastor in the area came to visit the family, invited them to his church, and prayed for Pratima and her brother. The family went to that church and the children were miraculously healed.
Pratima believes that God healed her for a purpose and that purpose was to serve Him. She was very involved in the church growing up. After a few years a new pastor was appointed for the church. He and his wife saw great leadership gifts in Pratima. They were graduates of MITS and encouraged Pratima to apply for Bible training there. Pratima completed her Bachelor of Theology degree with such good marks and understanding that she qualified, upon graduation, to start year 2 of the M. Div. program right away, completely skipping year 1.
Pratima is a mentor and counselor to the girls on the MITS Campus as she oversees their safety and activities. She is seeking the Lord’s will for a life-partner with whom she can do ministry after she completes her M. Div.
Please pray for her studies and for God’s provision of a godly husband.
