Purva comes from a very poor, Hindu family. She and her parents live in a rented house in a slum. There are no basic utilities and proper electricity. Many people in the slum have to travel 12 hours away to access electricity. Purva’s parents are illiterate. They travel far for temporary jobs. They solicit work by standing on the street, sometimes for several hours. Some days, they do not receive work and must return home empty-handed. Under these circumstances, Purva’s parents were not able to provide all her needs and requested the assistance of Mission India’s Child Development Center.
The Child Development Center (CDC) is a place where children come before and after school. It provides free tuition, school accessories, clothes and nourishment to children who would otherwise not be able to attend school at all. Here children are also taught about the love of Christ.
Through your sponsorship and prayers, Purva will continue to have opportunities to grow physically, mentally, and spiritually.
